The Camerons are renting a luxurious 18th Century Tuscan Villa in the lush Italian hills for David's first holiday since becoming Prime Minister.
The region was until recently a favourite holiday destination of Tony Blair but Mr Blair was regulary under fire for accepting free stays in the villas, so Downing Street has stressed that the Camerons are paying for their holiday.
The Camerons are sharing the 11,000 euro a week property with two families who are friends. Tuscany holds a special place in their hearts, as it is where the couple first met on holiday back in 1992.
Located near the town of Mercatale Valdarno, the Petrolo Estates is in the heart of the Chianti region, which is a popular holiday destination for British holiday makers.
