A Georgian-style mansion to become London's second largest private residence after Buckingham Palace.
'Witanhurst' is the name of the estate, it was home to the BBC's Fame Academy back in 2002 but that was short-lived. It has been turned into a luxurious mansion. The glittering 65-room palace includes 25 bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and was featured in the film Citizen Kane. A vast two-storey extension will almost double its size, making room for the 70ft swimming pool, sauna, massage parlour, hair salon, cinema suite and a imperial walnut-panelled Grand Ballroom.

If that wasn't enough construction has begun carving out an enormous cave beneath the mansion, which will make the estate 2,000 sq ft smaller than Buckingham Palace. Staff accommodations and a 25 space car park will complete the £50million expansion.
