£40,000 a week, thought to be the highest rent ever sought in London. The property which is near to One Hyde Park (where Britain's most expensive flat was recently sold for a whopping £136m). Rents have been soaring in the capital, especially at the top end of Central London, with wealthy foreigners securing hot-spots for the Games. If a tenant signs up for at least six months the rent will be £25,000 a week.
