William and Kate's Starter Home

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are to move into a royal starter home at Kensington Palace. William and Harry once lived their before with their late mother.

Kensington Palace is known for its exclusive postcode, the newlyweds will be neighbouring the Prince and Princess Michael of Kent.

Until now William and Kate have been sharing an apartment in the Clarence House with Prince Harry, when the newlyweds are in London.

The current occupants of the suite are members of the royal staff. As William is second in line to the throne, William will not be liable to pay rent.

The property had undergone a 'minimal refurbishment which will come out of the £14.5million annual subsidy the Queen recieves from the Government to cover the upkeep of royal residences.
