Update your boiler - New condensing boilers can cut power bills by a third and save around one tonne of C02 a year.
Insulate - By installing cavity wall insulation, the average house could reduce heatings costs by 15 per cent.
Stop draughts - Fill gaps under skirting boards and between floor boards.
Swap your bath for a shower - Waste a lot less water and energy.
Use natural building materials - Use natural material like earth, straw bale, cob to improve indoor air quality.
